I'm pretty sure that didn't ask anything...

But, I've posted this before, but THIS is the right place to post:
After a bit of a hardcore session ("Song for the Dead"- Queens of the Stone Age) I experienced the slightest, tiniest crap just below my last 3 fingers. I play combining my wrist and fingers, and have been playing for approximately 5-6 months. Should I ignore it? Is it normal if I play like this? Or should I be seeking some form of treatmeant/help? OR wait a while longer and see if it happens again?

You meant CRAMP not crap right? Very Happy
If you did mean cramp...rest your hand for a day 'cause that particular hand muscle is probably just sore from being used so much....give it a day to recover and grow back stronger. If it continues after a day or two then its starting to leave the realm of "normal" and you might think about seeking treatment if its just as painful 3 days afterwards.

If you didn't mean cramp...wipe more thoroughly next time.

getting cramps in your hands while playing drums isnt normal. since it happened after an "extreme session" im assuming its because you were choking your sticks to death and putting lots of stress on your hand. remember that you should be gripping your sticks fairly loosely, no matter how fast or hard youre playing. unfortunately its a natural reaction to bear down harder whenever you play out of your comfort range, so make sure youre making a conscious effort to stay relaxed when you play.

Don't worry, I make a "concious effort" to wipe correctly Wink

It was a one-off, the next day I played exactly the same thing again, feeling more comfortable that I've played it a few times. No tiny CRAMPS, so it's cool now. Thanks guys.
