Well, after debating for sometime whether to post it here (the winning argument was "why not?") here's a video of a thing I did for an arts festival last year. I do ask, however, that if you aren't really interested to not download this.
It's 64 MB, and on my server (it's too long for YouTube), so if the whole world downloads it, I need for fork over more bandwidth money, you see.
That said, the piece is called Hindi/Urdu and is a percussive representation of the sociolinguistics of those two languages and their effects within the nation of India.

Hey Guys,
It's been a while since I've been here, so I thought I'd share some home videos from the spring. Lately I haven't been doing all that much WFD.
These are improvised drumset variations of West African themes.

These are jazz based latin improvisations that would be used by jazz drummers who played with saxophonist Sonny Rollins.

This was an improvisation that happened when I didn't know the camera was on, but turned out decent.

Hope you like them.

So remember the crazy kit set up I'm using nowadays? Well, this is a cheap phone camera show of it being played. It's rather playable, and that is what I was trying to show (in other words, when it gets off rhythm in the end, I know, I wasn't trying to keep it good).

007 - I can't open it - can you post in another format or guide me as to what I'm doing wrong? _________________ What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? Well it was in the format the phone gave, and when it worked on my computer I just assumed it would work for all.
But here it is on youtube
