Having that the way that you have it though makes it a lot easier to take the drum on and off. I use the memory locks for what they are intended. You slid the drum down on it and it is set in the same place every time. I have mine the same way. If you flip it you have to take that memory lock off every time. Anyways I love that color, and the matte finish on it.

if you flip it, you could always just have the memory lock put before the drum, and just slide the drum UP to the memory lock every time.

Wow, there are some beautiful kits here. I like that cover for where the bass mount used to be, I need to get something like that. Mine looks tacky with just the holes there.

When you post, hit the "Img" button, and then after putting the address where you have the picture stored, hit the button again.

how do you like that 16" tom? Ive got a 6 piece (8-14), and im thinking about a 16" since i like 6 piece, but i never really use my 8 inch because of its position, and high pitchness.

You guys just made my day, im gettin a PDP FS Series 5 pc. set in Cherry to Black Fade with a 14x16 floor tom add on. I just have one question, Which would you rather get if you had the choice (if you couldnt get both), the 7x8 add on or the 14x16 add on? Just so when I get it, i get the drum I would use most. I heard people saying the 7x8 sometimes is in a weird position so they wouldnt play it, but I also heard the 14x16 is hard to tune. Right now im goin' with the 14x16, but if anyone thinks I shouldn't please give me advice Cool
This is what the set-up would look like:
