| It sure is mate, I do love her. I have another pad but im waiting on some triggers to arrive but Im liking where I have my ride set up. Im also going to add a pearl firecracker 10 inch snare and some real hats to her for live sets. |

| that's kinda cool. I have a DTXpress. It's OK, but leaves me hungry for my acoustic. Maybe I need to give electric a *better* shot. |

| DTXpress are the hard pads right? I have a hard pad as a hi hat cos the rebound is great on them but my pintech pads feels like the real thing. Great for toms and I can even set the sensitivity on them for dyanamics and as well as play rimshots. My only bug bear are the cymbals (chokable) but Im sure I can dick with the settings for that primo sound. DUDE go with a hybrid kit and have the best of both worlds. |

they are the hard pads. I'm learning how to become a more graceful drummer, and I get a pretty good bounce out of the snare. Also, I started playing in my socks and suddenly I'm getting better response out of the hi-hat pedal too. It used to not open up for me when I released. I was really bummed about that.
My only real complaint is that there aren't enough cymbal options. It's either crash or ride, nothing in between. But maybe a hybrid kit is the way to go, and I could add a splash. |

| Well I hear to can split the channels to add more cymbals but I'm too much of an arce to work that out. What I have done though is gone back to a traditional jazz kit and where that tom use to be add a cymbal....all I had to do was make my own custom kit . Now I've got the fatest Bass drums the poppiest snare and I can pick a couple of cymbal sounds close to my liking. My module is th TD6 by the way, what's yours? |

Hmm, not sure actually, I'll have to check.
but the splitting channels... I don't see how that would work. seems like you'd have two pads giving you the same sound. |

Yes, you can split the channels. Many of your pads, such as your toms, rely on a mono signal but all of your inputs are stereo. So, you are currently only using the L channel on most of your inputs. You just have to use a stereo splitter adapter and hook up another cymbal/pad and assign the sound to the right channel. _________________ AeonScape MySpace Music

interesting. I just learned how to record what I'm playing tonight, so baby steps....
I actually work for a cable company though so I'm sure I can get the connectivity if I can just figure out the brain. |
