if you guys are having more problems with fatigue than with cramps... here is a good way to build endurance fast
and sorry if this has been posted before but this worked so well for me
I was playing with 5B hickory sticks and then got myself a pair of Ahead drum sticks... the Lars Ulrich ones.... which aren't really a traditional size... but anyway, they are very heavy sticks.... play with them whenever you practice and your endurance will go up so much
then when you switch back to your regular hickory or whatever it may be taht you use sticks.... they will feel so light and easy to maneuver. _________________ ***HOOK IN MOUTH!!!***

This really does work, i've been playing with Ahead 5B's for a while now, whenever I go back to using my usual maple 7A's, it is much easier to move around the kit |

Yeah.... But is messing your heads and cymbals up worth it? I'll stick to playing with my normal 5Bs But it is a good tip. _________________

| I have some Aheads, but I just don't like the feeling of metal. |

| I'm not sure how the Aheads would mess up the cymbals. They have plastic sheaths and plastic tips. |

Well, one tip for using Aheads, you have got to get some grip tape, i recently did and it's improved my drumming a hell of a lot. I used to use gloves, cos my hands sweat a lot. Now i don't need to use gloves, and the sticks feel much lighter and more agile... _________________
