I’am a drummer and my brother play guitar
We play music with a midiplayer (charlie lab), and use cakewalk audio pro 9 to edit the files
We have a BIG problem, ,,we play sometime faster or slower than the midi file, because we have remove the drum and guitar track, and therefor not have these to play after
What can we do ?
Please help.. |

So you're just saying that you're having issues keeping time? Buy a metronome... you should be playing to that, or any sort of click track, and then the guitarist playing along with you. _________________ AeonScape MySpace Music

Hi
we have tried to put at sort of metronome insted for the drums , but it sound like sh.... mmmmmmmm
The speed of the midi file can be ajusted on the midiplayer, so if you can get some box that count your hi hat or bass drum (on my el drums) could control the tempo on midi player, that could be great, but i doent think i cant find this :'(....
If you have any solution to solve our problem please write |

No, I wasn't saying add a metronome to the midi instead of drums but rather listen to a metronome while you play so you keep correct time. You should use this aid to learn to play in time, rather than adjust the midi to mix you not playing in time. _________________ AeonScape MySpace Music

| You say you took out the guitar and drum parts from the midi. Do you know that you can keep those parts in but change the sounds from guitar to piano, but completley remove the drum parts all together, that way you will still have the same song, melody and all... |
