The pacific hardware is great for the price and it's made by dw, which is a great brand. The yamaha hardware is very well built, and it's made by one of the greatest intrument makers (in my humble opinion) in the world, but i prefer dw, and pacific is made by dw, so i would go with the pacific ones. _________________ "You can be smart and happy or you can be stupid and miserable."

I have a set of Stage Custom Advantages and have probably 7 single braced yamaha stands with it. I can honestly say I've put the hardware\stands through hell for over 3 years and have yet to show wear. They're friggin indistructable. I think it's well worth the extra money. _________________
