|
|
Hi guys, yesterday one of my mates gave me an old drum he had in his loft, pretty bad condition (broken heads, bad chrome etc) well anyways im restoring it but i couldnt identify it and im quite interested to know what it is. Its
14 x 6.5,
3 ply with reinforcing rings,
was covered in black oyster pearl,
Had tail plane lugs,
and the only markings i could find was 'Drumcraft 7005/1' on the inside of the lugs,
can anyone help identify this?
oh yeah and also what is the best way to plug unwanted holes?
thanks _________________

Check the inside of the drum and see if there's a logo there. _________________ "You can be smart and happy or you can be stupid and miserable."

idk those lugs look kinda like vintage slingerland style lugs, so it might be a slingerland, but thats my only guess. _________________ "You can be smart and happy or you can be stupid and miserable."

| It's an ajax snare drum. Made in england in the 50's/60's. The company no longer exists. |
