Hey, ive got a chronic problem of getting through a set of sticks a week and theres there sticks which are metal, called "aheads", with a removable plastic shell and tips, and my drum teacher gave me a set, Now the sticks are like £30 a set, and on the ones ive got, the plastic shells are chipped away and one of the tips has split, so i need some more. but all i can find is the actual sticks, can any one help?

Most music chains should have them.
They're good sticks if you get along with them.
The Metal grips cut my hands up, and i don't really like wearing gloves.
Prefer the wooden sound myself.
Good luck with them though. |

Woah, you must be a really hard hitter, you should probably practice playing a bit softer, unless you want to spend loads of money of just sticks, when you could be getting cymbals, etc.
You can get sleeves and tips from Amazon for a reasonable price, or there are some Ebay shops that sell them. _________________
