| I'm left handed. I started out playing left handed, but I gave up after a couple months. I usually play right handed, but it is fun to mix it up occasionally. |

I'm a lefty, who at first played on left side, but then needed to use his double kick for hte right.
So now I play on right, open, and you what its freaking great.
I don't know what it is, maybe its me, or maybe its the left handed, but I make the weirdist drum stuff. Like the fact that im a lefty, makes me prone to use the toms constantly, and I mean constantly. _________________ I am an amateur no matter how good i get, because i know in my whole life i will be looking up, instead of down. |

I'm left handed, but I started for like a year, on other kits playing right handed open, until I got my kit and set it up lefty and had to relearn everything. I'm kinda in a 'transitional' period, picking up things I could do but have to relearn backwards. _________________

I am left handed, but play on a standard "right handed" kit.
Left on HH, Right on snare. Carter Beauford and Mike Bordin style. |

| I thought being left handed was a result of demon possession. |

i started off lefty, but switched to playing righty open. my drum teacher said it would be a good idea because if i was ever asked to play at any venue, i would be able to just get up there and do it.
it was kinda hard starting off, like i was uncoordinated with the ride, but now im used to it. i could go back to lefty anytime i want too.
playing righty gives lefties an advantage too, because you can utilize your left hand so much w/ cowbells and other stuff to the left of your hi-hat _________________ "What is the deal with airplane peanuts?" |
