Howdy all... I have some 2006 Pro M maples and I need new heads... I remember that Modern Drummer suggested heads to buy a while ago... does anyone have that months MD? I lost mine ... If not, any suggestions for good heads to use? Thanks! |

I'm kind of interested in people's suggestions too since I'm in the same boat, new Pro M but looking for new heads
What type of music do you play Knoodle? I know that makes a difference.. for what sound you're looking for.
I'm playing mostly metal. _________________ AeonScape MySpace Music

I play Rock/Screamo(PopPunk/Punk)... that kinda stuff... I remember that MD said the bassheads were good out of the box, but that's all I can remember |

I had Evans G2 clears, but couldn't get the 10" to tune properly. I switched to G1 coateds and now I am having more fun playing and less time tuning. |

I have an Orion which is basically the same shell construction than ProM (only exotic outer ply and better hardware).
I swapped my factory Remo for Evans EC2 on top and G1 for reso. Snare is all maple and it is fitted with Remo EmperorX on top / Ambassador Snare on bottom.
Sounds great |
