I'm sure there are 100's of drummers that have played this riff . Can someone explain the pattern used after the 1st verse in ZZ TOP"S song La Grange ? Is it "right-left-bass / right-left-bass" ? or is it "right-left-bass-bass / right-left-bass-bass" ?
Thanks,
Chuck Silverlake |

Thanks,
Chuck Silverlake | It's right-left-kick and he goes from the snare to the rack to the floor twice around in kind of a sloppy but cool timing which is what gives most people fits. It just doesn't sound like anyone except Frank Beard. _________________ Most respect the badge, but all fear the drum.
