| hi, ive been drumming for around 3 years on a rock style drum kit but recently ive upgraded to a 6pc kit with double kick and i have great difficulty with doing straight 16th notes on the bass drum. i have a prowler series single chain drive gibralter double kick pedal. any suggestions how i can improve? What kind of tension is best? |

practice? if the pedal is comfortable for you to play the way you have it, then changing things around is not going to magically improve your technique. sit there and play at your fastest comfortable speed (preferably to a metronome) for like 15 minutes and then up the speed a tiny bit every few days, and in a months time you'll be ten times better than when you started. _________________

if you go to http://freedrumlessons.com/drum-lessons/double-bass-drumming.php you should be able to find some helpful tips for what you are needing help with. _________________ Primary Drum Kit: 1982 Yamaha Recording Customs
