My new kit has those drum sizes and they fit quite a range of music.
If you get them tuned correctly they should sing. _________________ Bish

If you're lucky enough, you may found a 16" floor tom on ebay in the future and a TAMA 20" bass drum when tuned correctly can sound like cannon.
Fusion size are what we call the versatile size. _________________ TAMA - DW - MAPEX - AQUARIAN - SABIAN - ZILDJIAN - ISTANBUL MEHMET - WUHAN - GIBRALTAR - VATER / VIC FIRTH / REGAL TIP / LOS CABOS - RHYTHM TECH - MP PERCUSSION

The hardware and cymbals you get are also equally as good and some of it better than the Yamaha deal. I personally prefer Yamaha, but the Tama deal is much nicer and the drums are good. _________________ The Silvertones |

| I too would suggest the tama. Fusion sizes are versatility at its best. I have a similar kit, 22" 16" and 13" and I wish it was 10(or 12), 14, 20. Still since they are used, be sure to inspect the bearing edges and all of the threading on all of the hardware. While the heads are off check for bent hoops. A good thing also is bring along a drummer who's opinion you respect to inspect the drums. Sure if theyre both perfect, get the tama but if the shells are shaped like eggs, the hardware stripped, and the chain missing on the pedal, get the yamaha if its in better condition. |

Fusion is very much the most versatile.
I had one for 3 years and it served me very well.
I now have a Rock kit which I very much prefer, due to the style of music I play - however, will be eventually getting 8 and 10 inch add on toms.
14 Floors just aren't deep enough for me though. |

My drumset looks just like mind_drummers drumset does with the colours but my drumset is pearl and I don't have tthat much cymbals and I've only got 2 tom tom and 1 floor tom, but soon when I get some money I'm going to buy cymbals. I buyed one cymbal from a guy I know for 10 dollars but then my fathers bandmembers ( the drummer ) looked at it and he said that it was a Zildjian and when I'm going to sell it I can get 100 dollars for it, so I think I made a good buy there... |
