I feel like I play better when I'm good and pissed off. We had a really rough day with the band last Sat. You can play a song almost identically 3 times and the vocalist will complain about the tempo twice (even if it doesn't change). So after that I really started beatin' the hell out of my kit. It ended up being more fun |

| Quote: | | I've also heard something about how they send shocks or something up your arm because they are aluminum which in the long run can really mess up your playing....this is probly bs but it scared me, so i'll stick to my pro-mark japanese oak 2Bs from now on. |
I'm not sure how they would send shocks up your arm, as the metal is covered with polyethalene, and also, they are like shock-absorbers. So, in the long run, are much better for you that using wooden sticks. Less chance of getting RSI injury. I use Light 5B sticks, they weigh nearly the same as normal 5B maple sticks.
About the 'good one day, bad the next' its about experience. The more experienced you are, the more consistant you become, like anything. I suppose it really comes down to the mood you are in.... _________________

Yea, I always listen to some hard rock or metal, especially something with a really good riff, somethign that sticks on your head. I'll try stretching next time I jam. _________________ Drumdogg |
