I suggest getting a used one. I have an Iron Cobra I bought at a local Music-go-round for $40. It's great. That same store has one for $60 right now too. They also sell on ebay pretty regularly for between $50 and $100. That's a great pedal for that kind of money. If you have another preference check these places for that model too.

EDIT: Oops, I see now that you wanted a double pedal. I was talking about singles above. Well, i've never seen a decent one under $100.

the pdp for 100 bucks is a steal. great to learn on and it can go a decent speed. i have one myself, i can get fast triplets out of them, and do 16th notes and such easy as well. best way to do it, is go to a store, try some out. then if u dont like the cheap ones, find a used better one.

I'd go for gibraltar. Pretty good pedals, not too much money.
