ooo, i've always wanted to try one of those accents! How does it sound? Loving the snare, Mapex really floats my boat these days. Great to see the progression in kits over time, happy drumming!

The Accent's are "special" they are dark but high pitched with their thickness and happen a very long sustain of overtone. I'm sure they cut, not just blend, very well.

I had some cash money as Christmas gift so right on the boxing day I have decided to order some tools to help me improve. My first need was a good reliable and affordable metronome. Then I deeply needed a good pair of Isolation headphone w/audio.
So I ordered the TAMA Rhythm Watch 105 and the Vic Firth Stereo Isolation headphone (-24 db isolation). Then finally to complete the order to profit of the free shipping promo, I ordered two pair of VF SSG and a pair of Pro Mark Simon Philips sig. wood tip stick. I also saved the canadian taxes

67$ cdn.
But on your side of the border they sell for 45$ usd.
They are nice from the little I used them.
