so im looking for a good heel/toe pedal, but it's not that easy when it's a 45 minute drive to GC. i want to play while wearing shoes so i dont get sweat all over the pedal. i wear a US men's size 10 shoe, so with my yamaha flying dragon, my toes constantly hit the camshaft.
is the tama iron cobra power glide double bass pedal good for heel/toe. if not, i want something that has that kind of quality. _________________ my myspace. CLICK IT! |

There are people who say they can do heel-toe on Iron Cobras but I have size 13/14 feet and they're way too big to try and do heel-toe on the Iron Cobras (which are what I use). _________________ AeonScape MySpace Music

| I personally don't use the heel/toe technique, but I heard that you don't actually have to hit with your heel and toe, it's more just a rolling motion with your foot, so feasibly you could play with any sized pedal. I'm not too sure of this however, again, it's just what i heard. But if you really do need a larger pedal, I'd go for axis longboards. They are supposed to be amazingly fast and smooth, and have a much longer foot board then most other pedals. They do cost a bit more than iron cobra's though, but they're worth looking into. |
