I have been out of the hardware game for a while. I bought four Tama road pro double braced stands about 6 years ago and toured with them extensively. They have held up awesome and still look good but I am just not playing as much anymore (4 - 5 nights a week). I play 2 - 4 gigs a month with my current group spen.co. My previous gig was rock/funk now my gig looks more like indy/jazz/fusion.
What I need are some great single braced stands. I have one older single braced Tama that I love but they dont make anymore. I remember most major drum makers made quality single braced stuff but now the only stuff I can find seems cheap and doesnt have as many options as double braced (tilter, etc...)
I need some help here! I have to cut down on some weight; I am already selling off my old hard shell cases for some bags but I need to reduce the hardware weight or my back will start hating me in the morning. |

^^^^Thanks
I looked into it but I still get a little crazy sometimes and I would be too scared to knock one over. Plus I still use a 21" A custom projection ride and 17 and 18" crashes. So those stand might be a little light. |

| I have some older single braced stuff that I don't use anymore. I will have to take a look at them and see if they are of any quality or not. I would be happy to sell them to you if they are decent enough. I haven't looked at them in years. I live in Indiana, so shipping would be much. I will get back with you. |

I have looked at those as well, and they seem to be about the best bet right now for decent single braced stuff. My one single braced Tama is like that except it has the dual wing nut arm clamp so positioning works a tad better.
I was checking out the gibralter round leg i believe its the 7600 series. Any body have any experience with these? |

Yeah if you could find what you have and let me know: possibly some pictures and what not, maybe I could just meet you half way depending on where you live and save a ton on shipping! |

I got to looking at those stands finally. (sorry for the wait ) I don't think they would be something you are looking for. They aren't as good a shape as I thought they were in and don't really have the quality/strong thing going for them. Sorry I couldn't help you out any. |

I use 4 DW 6000 series cymbal stands with (are you ready?):
24" ride
20" ride
22" ride
18" crash ride
Haven't even come CLOSE to knocking one over. They weigh 5.2 lbs each.
