i currently have an acrylic pacific snare. i know this is a tama, yamaha, and pearl forum, but i have a set of starclassics......anyway, i have the pacific mudflap girls snare. i was wondering, what kind of tone i might get if i took the mudflap girl inserts out and then it becomes a vented snare drum?
