I recently acquired a DTXtreme II and I had a question, hopefully someone can help. I'm putting together a bunch of different drums to set up a metal kit. I really like the beechwood kick sound, it sounds great when your using single pedal stuff....but when you double kick it sounds horrendous if your trying to record. Anyone have a similar kit that can point me in the right direction for a good clean kick sound for double bassing?
