have you looked at the pintech kits with mesh heads. I have a e-jam series with the roland td6 module. It's jammed packed with very cool sounds and the mesh heads feel like an acoustic kit. All off ebay for a bargain. Otherwise you could get a module and triggers for an acoustic kit.
