it has to be the cheese shop/emporium... If you haven't heard it and you're into Monty Python try this link http://www.mwscomp.com/mpfc/cheese.html

after asking for dozens of different cheeses, all out of stock...

You do have some cheese, do you?
Of course, sir. It's a cheese shop, sir. We've got .....
No, no, don't tell me. I'm keen to guess

and it goes on, very funny

i know some people find it annoying, but i quite liked teh spectrum sketches. here are a few lines:

"Tonight's 'Spectrum' examines the whole question of frothing and falling, coughing and calling, screaming and bawling, walling and stalling, brawling and mauling, falling and hauling, trawling and squalling, and zalling. Zalling. Is there even a word zalling? If it is what does it mean? If it isn't what does it mean? Perhaps both, maybe neither. What do I mean by the word 'mean'? What do I mean by the word 'word'? What do I mean by 'what do I mean'? What do I mean by 'do' and what do I do by 'mean'? And what do I do by do by do and what do I mean by wasting your time like this? Good night."

it's more effective in the sketch...

for a one off line i'd go with 'he's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy!' but as that has already been mentioned, i'll have to mention the argument sketch (which i don't think has been quoted yet) from my memory i think it is something along the lines of....

this isn't an argument you're just contradicting me

no i'm not

yes you are

i'm not

you are

i'm not

etc etc
