There is a 16 piece Ludwig drumset on my local radio-station's partlyline (16 includes cymbals). It has 4 mounted toms 2 floor toms, a snare, two high-hats, and i forgot how many cymbals, but all the cymbals are Paiste except the high-hats, and also double bass (two bass drums I believe, not double pedals...). The heads are all newly replaced and in good condition, half are ludwig heads, half are remo. I can get it for $500.00.

Sounds way too good to be true but he says he needs it out fast cuz he's got a baby on the way.

I don't have room for a 16 piece, but I plan on selling about half of it, and also my current CB700 set that's beat up.

Anyone think i'll be making a good buy here?

As long as it's in good condition, that sounds like the deal of the century! Any idea what model it is?

He claims excellent conditions... all screws... connectors.... washers in place. And he's letting me look at it before I buy it so he's not trying to cheat me out. Pretty sure it would be a good buy.

Don't know much about the drums themselves. I know the combined drumsets are both ludwig, one of the sets is from the 90's. I'll post more details when I can look at them more.
