| Funny you should ask. Tonight I got my 10" wuhan splash from MF delivered. It's the S series. I cannot believe how loud it is. Or how nice it sounds. I have heard So much about this line from Wuhan on this and other forums. " there great", " they suck". It was $28 bucks I figured what the hell , I mean really what am I gonna loose if it sucks? Personally I am a cymbal fan I love them. I believe good cymbals to be the utmost importance. Most of my cymbals are higher end stuff. I'm lucky No kids just me and the misses ( More cash for stuff !!! ) Any way my point is that in one area you can really consider less expensive cymbals are your splash cymbals. To me that put out such a small sound signature ( at least playing live) Alot of time this works well. Enough Back to splash recomendations Wuhan S series this thing kicks *Horse's Patoot* Really nice for the money excellent value I already ordered the 12" model tonight. As the previous poster stated those sabian splashes are very nice also. But alot pricer. Meinl and Zildjian ( of course) also make nice splashes. But there's a ton of some really great budget priced splashes stagg, Dream and Saluda come to mind. good luck |

| both dream and stagg have websites just google them it'll pop up. There's a really nice website Virtual cymbals that carries Dream. They have sound bites and video of the exact cymbal you order. I have really been thinking about getting a dream ride. Some of them sound pretty sweet especially for the price. |
