Guys,
I am an intermediate drummer and own a Yoki DD902. Trying to figure out the best amplifier which can go with my kit. Something which will give justice to the bass punch and the ride pitch and can be used for practice and small gigs. Someone told me that I should look for keyboard amps like Roland KC150, Peavey K series, etc.
If anyone is using an amplifier with their electroni kits, please help. |

first, how much are you willing to spend?
and as for the small gigs, you'll need quite a bit of power just to make yourself heard, especially outdoors.
i have never heard anything through a keyboard amp. i HAVE heard electronic drums through a bass guitar amp. if you use a bass guitar amp, make sure it has a tweeter.
then there are the live sound systems that the whole band can hook up through as long as the guitarist(s) and bassist have preamp. _________________ my myspace. CLICK IT! |
