I used to play acoustic drums and am now switching to electric, and I was just wondering has anyone used mesh skins, and do they feel like normal drum skins?
Basically I'm asking is it worth paying more for mesh over rubber pads? |

I have mesh head. I wouldn't go as far to say that they feel like regular heads but def. a lot more realistic feel then the rubber heads. I personally think it's worth the $ _________________ The Lord delights in the ways of man who's steps he has made firm.

| Ok, I just got my ALesis DM5 Pro, does tightening the heads affect the sound?. Because I don't want to go screwing around with them and messing up the sound, but I prefer them looser than how they came. |

| The sound wouldn't be affected by tightening the head. |
