so i htink ive found waht ve been looking for in regards to isolation.
ive just picked up a set of harman/kardon earphones.
there pretty much the best set of earphohnes ive ever had, there even better than extreme isolation headphones.
here's the specs on them
sensitivity @ 1Hz- 105 Bdl SPL for a 0.1 V rms input
noise isolation- 35db
frequency response 20Hz to 15Hz
impedance- 16 ohms
i put a set of everyday workers hearing protection over them, and they work great.

My brother has them, and like me just warn you that if you wear them for anything outside of drumming, they're kind of dangerous. When he wore them, he fairly literally couldn't hear anything outside of them. While at my parents' working the land he couldn't hear us yelling at him to stop what he was doing so as to not kill a dog (backing up a tractor, didn't look behind, just trusted that anything would move). _________________ So with that title, do I Godwin every thread now?

maybe try some of that stuff for more cheaper. i have the more me and they work ok. sound pretty *Horse's Patoot*, but you can hear yourself and that's the point, i guess. i use other headphones for rocking out or mixing/monitoring.
love,

I recently got some Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's, 80 ohm version. Their absolutely fantastic. They're a comfy closed back design with GOOD sound. _________________ AeonScape MySpace Music
