Hey D.D members. Just picked up a practice pad and a couple sticks and have been going through the rudiments as much as possible lately. Singles, Doubles, diddles and flams atm. I read a great piece of this site that gave me great encouragement (from another 22 year old new drummer wondering if it was too late to start).
Been reading through the forums as of late and trying to learn lots. Hope to converse with you guys over the next couple months.

Never too late to start.
Glad to see the rudiments on pad. Some great exercise sites out there (you can find a few in the stickies of the technique area here.)
Good luck with your practicing! _________________ "One day I feel I'm on top of the world
