hey guys i just bough the DW 9002 double bass pedal and am having a hard time getting it to where i want it because of the *Poop* directions it came with. Any suggestions on to make it a balance between power and speed....let me know

try this:
chains adjusted back as far as they will go at point where they connect with end of footboard- this lowers footboard making speed easier and more comfortable
springs loose just to b4 they loose all, er , springyness
set cam adjustment to full offset, ie, accelerator setting
adjust attachment point of the beater shaft to create a balance point/fulcrum that give the power feel you want. The @higher@ up the bd head the beaters hit the more power you will get, untill it reaches at point of diminishing returns

| I just bought 2 DW 9000 single pedals and I found that I get more volume using the plastic side of the beater. |
