I would say either upgrade to a DW, or keep the Cobra. If the beaters they gave you are giving you trouble, just buy a pair from Danmar or some company of the like. I have the Eliminator, and by no means would I recommend it to any other drummer. I'm still wishing I had saved up a bit more and got the Iron Cobra.

Why is that Sauren? I love my Eliminators, I think they have much more versatility than Iron Cobras...What's your beef with them?

d0ublestr0ker0ll: Ahhh... FINALLY! Someone who likes the eliminator. The eliminator is much better than the IC! I use the white cam and I just can't get enough of that brilllllliant feelin'! I love it, and it is the greatest pedal on the market. I wouldn't trade it for a DW! Very Happy

Yeah man the only thing I have against it (at this moment) is the low angle of the footboard. I asked in the Dog House forum if there is any way to raise its angle. I'll tell you what though, that blue cam shaft is quite a beast...the Elim has 4 different interchangable cam shafts that increase or decrease attack and the backswing of the beater for those of you who haven't seen one.

Sauren suffers from "Post Traumatic Pearl Hardware Disorder". He got a bad piece of gear as a youngster and never got over it. Very Happy Kind of like my fear of dolls! Wink I saw a show where a doll came to life and killed everyone in the house back when I was 8. No dolls in my house from then on!
Thats why there's no "Pearl" page on this forum. Sauren HATES Pearl! He's good guy however! He, just like a lot of us, has some ticks! lol
Anyway! I have an Eliminator and I think it's a great pedal. I've never owned a Cobra but hear great things about them. If you're interested in an Eliminator, I suggest you go to your local dealer and play one. See what you think.
