HI, i am new to this forum and i wanted to ask a few questions, i have a hart dynamics prodogy electric drum set and i wish to upgrade it to be more like a regular drum set, also i would like to know how i can minimize the tom triggers going off when i hit the cymbols.

What sound module do you have? You usually need to adjust something called crosstalk.

That's the same module I have. It's easy to fix. You want to adjust the crosstalk on the pad that's false triggering. It's from vibration in the rack. See if you can find it in the instructions. It's been a while since had to adjust mine so I'll dig up the instructions and post it later if you can't find them.
Also make sure none of drum rims are touching anything.
What do you mean by making them more like regular drums?

| i mean like get new cymbols with dual triggers so i can hit the crown and stuff and do rim shotS< I JUST WANT To know how to upgrade my set. thanks for the help. |

Ah I see. I wouldn't waste too much money on it. It's pretty much the bottom of the line edrums and even though it serves it's purpose will never be real drums in my opinion. You can add any brand cymbals. Try ebay. I got a couple cymbals and pads from ebay.
Rim shots will never happen with this kit.

| no no i know u can do rim shots, i just have to get a dual trigger snare thats all i was just woondering wat products are good but not too expensive. |

I thought you meant with the Protegy triggers. Yes, Hart does make and expensive snare. I've seen some good hats too but I only use mine to practice at night. I guess you have bigger plans for yours.
Did you get the crosstalk figured out?
