My local store sells Dixon hardware, its way over priced if you ask me.

The Dixon stands and thrones look pretty good but the bass pedals look like junk.

Double bass pedals are like 250, throne about 80, snare stand about 55, straight cymbal stand 60, boom cymbal stand 80-100+, hihat stands 145 bucks. For those kind of prices you can probobly find much better stuff elsewhere.

Another local store sells some Groove percusion stuff, the cymbal stands look pretty good and the snare stands looked decent but I would stay away from the bass pedals and thrones, they just look like something to break on you.

I recently had to pick up a hi-hat stand for my 5 piece kit. I got a Pearl 800 series. It's doubled braced, the legs swivel and it was only $56.00 That seems pretty reasonable for a good hi-hat stand . You may want to check out Pearl.

Pacific makes good cheap stuff as well, I bought a $40 boom stand a while back and it seems pretty stable.

I bought a pacific throne a while back as well and it seems to be doing fine.

I actually just wanted to see what everyone thought on cheaper stuff, cause i hear alot of cheap stuff talked as if it can handle up to like a higher priced thing and stuff, but i have a dixon medium boom stand, which i put a 20 pound weight on it and a 16 inch crash, on a cymbal stacker on top, and left it there for a day and just bashed the hell out o it and the stand is still perfect condition, and i got a sun lite hi hat stand, which is actually a VERY smooth action to it, and it to is really stable, unlike my standard hi hat it doesnt more, wobble, nor bed like my last one, so yeah just wanted to see how bad cheap stuff gets bashed with how good it can actually be.

Some of my hardware is really cheap stuff that I got from my brother; I wouldn't suggest it. The stuff works, but because of wear, is less dependable and more difficult to adjust. I highly recommend Pacific hardware, as it is pretty cheap and of good quality. (I just bought the HH820 two leg hi-hat stand, it's pretty nice)
