Well i want to get a rack to hold my cymbals but also allow for some new ones and an extra tom. I have a standerd five piece setup with an extra snare. Id like to have three toms above my bass (four if i have to) then two floor toms. What id like to know is if anyone has any ideas on what i should buy to be able to do the things id like to. By the way it'd be nice if the hardware was gibralter. Thanks guys.

For three toms, possibly four depending upon sizes, I'd got with either a 40" or 46" curved bar for the front. For the legs 43.5" is fine. I'm pretty sure Gibralter has full racks with everything you just about need, except maybe an extra clamp or two, for sale at any Sam Ash or Guitar Center store.

I picked up a rack from eBay that is made by a company called Rockland. It is a Titan 1000 series and holds my entire set. Heavy duty construction and not a bad price either.

MapexMan2112,

I've seen this Titan 1000 series rack advertised on eBay from National Music Supply for $169/$39 S&H... does it really come with (4) mounting tom arms and (2) cymbal stands? Do you think a 24 inch kick will clear the support? I would love to see a photo of your Mapex kit with this rack.
