I just did a search on ebay for "Tama starclassic performer" and got a few results. I didn't look at all but there's a few different fades. Try it and see if you find the one you're looking for.

Hey, I just got my Starclassic Performer in Dark Cherry Fade about 2 weeks ago. The color is completely amazing. I really am so amazed on how nice it is, you can see all the grains of the wood and it just shines like a beauty. I think Dark Cherry Fade is by far the best color by Tama. I think you should definitely go for the Dark Cherry Fade, but thats just my 2 cents. Laughing

Dark Cherry Fade. the Walnut Fade is pretty amazing too but i think the Dark Cherry Fade will turn more heads because it is the shizz nizzle.

Ah, my counterpart has arrived... hello, snowdog! Welcome to the forum. Smile

I have to say that that dark cherry fade is downright gorgeous. I'd love to see the walnut fade, as well, but you certainly couldn't go wrong with that kit that Snake was nice enough to post. Beautiful.

"Square for battle! Let the fight begin!" Heh, I just saw Rush play that one live last Saturday in St. Louis. 3 1/2 hours of Rush. Awesome show. Simply awesome.

Go here:

http://www.drumcentral.com/drum_sets_49.htm

You can see almost all the colors for performers in there

I own a Walnut and I simply love it. It looks even much better than in the picture and I prefer it over dark cherry fade because dark cherry has a little bit of orange tones and walnut is dark red and black which is a combination that kills me.

Here's a Walnut set taken from the link i posted above
I would've taken a pic of mine but I don't own a digital cam

Hello Bytor ! Yes your counterpart has arrived. I am a huge Rush fan as well. I have seen them live four times. Two times on the last tour. It was awsome to see my favorite song (bt & tsd) live.

Thanks again for your help.

I've only seen them 3 times, myself. You should definitely check them out for the 30th anniversary tour.

Oh, and congrats on the kit. Both of those finishes are gorgeous! I have to say that after seeing the walnut, however, that would be the one for me. Smile

So the question has to be asked: Who wins the fight, bytor or snowdog? Wink

I'm going to the Rush show in Dallas next Wednesday - CAN'T WAIT!
