| Hey. I currently am using evans hydraulic heads on the top of my bass and toms. I have a genera dry snare head. What would be good heads on the bottom to complement my current heads. Thanx |

Hydraulics are very dead heads, so I would probably use thin resos to compensate for the Hydros' deadness - Aquarian Hi Frequency, Evans Resonant Glass, Remo Diplomat, etc. A typical snare side head should work fine with a Genera Dry - Classic Clear SS, Hazy 300, Ambassador SS, etc. _________________ "If I didn't make a living beating things with a stick, I'd probably be in a lot of trouble!" - Alex Van Halen |

hydraulics are probably wrecking your tone sir, before you snag new resonants you may want to consider variations in your batter head. Then again im not aware of what style you are going for so maybe the hydraulics are perfect for you, my suggestion lies within aquarian hi freq for the resonants to cancel out the hydraulics as mentioned before _________________ Capitalism is where man exploits man, Communism is the other way around. |

I agree with these excellent suggestions. |
