|
|
I am looking for a lighter duty boom stand for a 8" splash Ive got. I dont need a big O' heavy duty monster capable of holding a ride, a tom, and 3 more cymbals on grabber arms. I just need somthing good enough to hold a smaller cymbal, but still be sturdy enough that If I wanted I could use a larger cymbal (such as a 14" crash or smaller china) without worrying about it tiping over or anything.
So can anyone recomend me a lighter duty boom stand, preferably on the cheaper side. _________________ Sometimes rude, sometimes nice - say something I dislike and pay the price |

Thanks for the info.
I checked out the stands on M.F. and have narrowed it down to these.
Pearl B70W
Pulse Pro
Pacific CB-700
I am leaning towards the Pulse, but I think Ill wait till I go to guitar center and see what they've got. Something I want to check out is how tall it goes and how stable it is when extended to full height with a cymbal on it. I have a pacific 800 series stand and it seems kinda short and if you extend the boom arm all the way out it seems to get kinda wobbly. _________________ Sometimes rude, sometimes nice - say something I dislike and pay the price |
