There are many topcis about this already made, but again I will state my opinion.

I have a pair of Carbosticks. 5a Light's. I love them. They last longer, make a much better sound of cymbals, and they absorb sweat, so they dont become slippery. I've ahd mine for a couple of months now (Maybe three?) and they have held up CRAZY good. A few indents and srapes and such here and there. But there made to last up to 8 times longer!! People were complaing that they didn't come in different sizes but thats tottally wrong. I've seen about 6 or 7 different sizes, weights, tips, you name it. I really like them and there totally worth the money. Sure there about 3 time as much as regualar sticks, but 8 times longer man! I'd totally try them man. Hope you found this helpful.

P.s. This is just my opinion people on this board might flip out and disagree with me but whatever lol.

just be careful. Because when they DO break, they can cut you up pretty badly if you aren't careful

Someone told me they were great and they loved to use them, but they left marks on the cymbals. Any truth to that?

I've never seen them leave marks on the cymbals.

I don't know if its always like this, but mine's are black, so if you have coated drumheads, they will turn black quite easy. But on cymbals, I haven't noticed a single mark.
However, I find them great to play. More durable, and allows you to play quicker. Well worth the money, as mine only cost 2$ more then my Zildjian Super Funk's. And indeed, there are some different sizes. Let's give them a try!

Well I have 7as..Pretty good by means of endurance, but I hate the sound they produce and their feel.So I stick to wood sticks with wood heads. Cool

I got bought a pair of Carbosticks, and they really were a pair of good sticks. They absorb sweat and are very comfortable to play, i recommend these sticks! Also you get a great sound from the sticks on cymbals in particular. Top sticks.
