Well, with some of my grad money, I'm gonna go out and get myself a propper ride cymbal. Any bets on how many weeks this is going to take me?

Cool

No!

But when you decide on one, please do let us know what you brought home!

I'm saying 2 weeks and 4 days. I also predict you will get a Paiste cymbal of some sort.

Update on the ride search:

I went to the Guitar center today and I narrowed it down to a 20" K ride. I'm going to look at Jack's Drum store and one other place before I go through with it, but this guy might be the one. On a side note, I NEARLY asked them to put a 22" Paiste Aside, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted.

Ugly-man-on-parade, you MIGHT just have hit it with the brand name, but I won't say just yet.
