does anyone know the thickness of the wood of Gretsch Custom Snares and Gretsch Custom Plus Snares? Because according to the Gretsch website, the Custom PLus is 25% thicker than the Custom but they do not specify how thick it is. Can't really affor Gretsch so was thinking of ordering one from Phattie Drums with the same specs.
