Hey, I recently started looking at drumsets, I've never had one before, if I do get one it won't be until christmas, or after, but that's not important. I've found a few off brand sets that are both $299. I'm not really looking at spending much more than this if I don't have to. They both seem like good deals, but I'm leaning towards the Verve, probably because the reviews it got. Anyways, take a look and tell me which you think is better and if it's worth it.

Thanks for the help.

To be perfectly honest, neither of those kits is very good - I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. You would be much better off buying a used Tama Swingstar, Pearl Forum, Yamaha YD, etc. with some used Sabian B8s or Zildjian ZBTs for around $300-400. You'll get higher quality gear and much better resale value if you decide you don't like drumming a year from now. Just my 2¢.

thats always an option... local music stores usually have lots of good used stuff to get your hands on. ive heard very good things about PDPs though, for them being such a cheap kit.

Yeah I've heard sets as cheap as that are usually destroyed by anyone that is playing loud enough to be heard.
