I have a roland td-6 set, and I'm looking to buy an amp for it. I know you can buy specific drum amps from roland or yamaha, but would a bass, guitar, or keyboard amp also work? Does anyone know how they sound from experience, because I might be planning on picking up a electric guitar or bass and I'd like to have just one amp.

Thanks a lot
Kev

I talked about this a bit in another post. Specifically, you don’t need a phenomenal amp if you’re just practicing. However, if you are going to gig with it (and you can’t plug into the system), then you’ll need something with the spectrum designed for the extreme highs and lows that an e-kit puts out. But go experiment, it's your sound after all.
