A guy is trying to sell me a set of Yamaha electric drums. I know nothing about electric drums. I looked at them, and they had 4 pads that said Yamaha PTT1, and another larger pad that was obviously for the bass. The pads mount on regular Yamaha stands. They come with an Alesis D4 module. He wants $400 for the lot. Do any of you know anything about these drums? I found info on the Alesis D4 module on the internet, but nothing on the PTT1 pads. There are no electric cymbals or footpedals (no hi-hat) with this. Is this something to avoid, or something to pounce on? HELP?
