I just recently noticed that slingerland had began manufacturing kits again in 2003 under gibson. If anyone has a slingerland kit i would like to hear what you think about it. I was talking to a salesman at a Guitar center and he said that he owns one and they are worth every cent. I found it kind of hard to fathum buying a drum set for a little over 4 G's but he said that it was worth it. and I'm pretty sure that guitar center will start carrying them or atleast have some brochures in the store because they are a certified retailer or Gibson guitars and Gibson owns Slingerland.

A few years back, before they switched the manufacturing from Nashville to Conway, Arkansas, they were producing some very, very nice drums. I believe Tre Cool was/is an endorser. The snare's were the highlights of the line. Single ply, Radio King snares....love em.
