Has anyone seen the Gretsch Spirit of America snare. I saw one in a local music store but its locked up in a glass case and they couldnt find the key. It looks to be somewhere around a 6 1/2X14, its finish has multiple flags on it. Looks very nice but im wondering about the quaility and sound. Any info?

From what i've heard it has great sound. Great overall quality. IMO Gretsch makes the absolute best snares.
