|
Hello,
Since I am a drummer, my old neighbor gave me a set of sticks a long time ago and he said they were from either Buddy or Gene but I don't remember. Unfortunatley, my neighbor passed away a few years ago.
The sticks are stamped with "Ludwig and Ludwig Co." and they are size 3A. Any body have any insight?
Thanks

I think I heard something about Buddy and 3A, but I can't remember...I do have an old Cappella stick that buddy used (known as the B.R. model about 19/32 diameter by 16 with an oval tip) Buddy also had Ludwig make a stick for him known as the 15A which had virtually no tip...
(I have one of those too) I have a Gene Krupa stick made by Slingerland which was very tiny (less than 1/2 inch in diameter)
My best guess is that the stick you have would be closer to something Buddy would have used...especially since it is a Ludwig stick... _________________ http://customdrumsticks.com |

Gene was a Slingerland man til the day he died. He never used a Ludwig product like that. I'm sure it'd be Buddy, as he switched endorsers like most change socks.
