I'm intrigued...
Has anyone played any of the newest DW pedals? The 9000 Limited or standard editions, or the new 5000 Delta 3's. I just bought a Delta 2 for dirt cheap because the new ones were coming out.
Do you think pedals can really get that much faster? |

I haven't played the newest DW's, but you can't go wrong with any of the Delta's IMO.
Except the price! Around £200 for a single and £400+ for a double here in England!!!
Personally I have a Pearl Eliminator Double and it kicks severe *** ! Very smooth, very fast, very tough and good value for money.
Half the price of the DW double. My first one got stolen, so I went out and bought another one, thats how highly I rate them.
Just to go off the point, is Danville anywhere near to Louisville? Cuz thats where one of my favorite bands is from. They're called Elliott, but I doubt you've heard of them. They're bit of a cult/underground/emo/post hardcore type band. Nice drumming though....
Sorry to be bit of a geek!

| I'm actually only an hour and a half from Louisville, and go there frequently. I have some friends up there, and I'll ask them about Elliot. Thanks for the tip. Also on the Louisville music scene, though they are just coming up are Seven Days After, which is along the same Emo-ish lines. |
