I have the regal tip flares and they are basically the same thing as blasticks except red. If you like to play soft, I definitly recomend them! _________________ The Silvertones |

Who would think that an item named Blasticks would be used for playing soft? _________________ http://www.myspace.com/spironoise |

My church just got blasticks. We are trying to convert to an acoustic set and using these do help. And yes, they are very versatile. They havea little "rubberbandish" thing and you can raise it to the top so the sticks are closer together and you will get more attack, deeper sound from toms, etc. And when you lower it to the botton it is softer and kind of a mix between rods and a brush. They are softer than rods considering they arent wood, but they dont have that tingy noise you get from the brushes because they arent metal. Anyways we are probably going to test out mallets next time becasue the blasicks are nice but not great for us because we have a lot of songs where the toms really need to sound deep _________________ Little Debbie Pride! |
