I am having a problem with the Z-Rock sticks. For years I have been using Vic's, but I like the balance and feel these Z-Rocks possess.
But 5 nylon tips out of this case I just have bought have split, and shattered during play! Never had this problem before, and I am assuming it's a defect. So does anyone know how to contact Zildjian via e-mail or 800£?

Zildjian Nylon Tip Sticks are notoriously weak. If you like Nylon tips then Zildjian sticks aren't for you.

In all instances they shatter when I am on the ride and doing some bell work.

So Z-sticks have this problem with their nylon tips? A ding a dang, that's what I get for forsaking my Vic's! I just fell in love with the feel and balance of the Z-Rocks. Guess I am going to have to write to Zildjian to see if I can get a comp of some sort.

the tips on mine didnt break, they just fell off after several months. i know it happens, but i have a pair of generic sticks that ive had for the past 6 years and the tips are still hanging in there. sure, a little super glue fixed the problem, but for that to happen to a pair of $8 sticks is not quite acceptable.

I have had Regals do the same in the past with the tip just coming out of socket, but the shattering effect from these Z's is mind bogling to me! It has to be a defect that Z-peoples should have to answer to!
