DR501 or DR-501C Icon front Rack

Okay,

Out of curiosity have any of you wise people had the pleasure of using pearl Icon racks.

DR501C or DR501 - Is it worth getting the new curvy one? Or should I stick with a good old fashioned straight one.

Also, Do any of you know how long the curve bar is on the DR501c. I know the DR501 is 36", is the DR501c the same?

well, it depends on what you want. if you have lots of drums that you want to be able to curve in front of you in a more natural progression, rather than going straight across, then i would use the curved one. if you only have a couple of rack toms, then the curve may not be necessary, but you could get it never the less simply for the way it looks.
